Billing & plans
Pricing tiers, payment, upgrading or downgrading, and what happens if you fall behind.
Sapling bills monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. This page covers how plans, payments, and cancellations work.
Plans
We sell three tiers — Sprout, Sapling, and Grove — sized by RAM and CPU. See the pricing page for current limits and prices. Each plan can run multiple Minecraft servers as long as their combined resource use fits within your tier; the dashboard shows you live consumption so you know when you're close.
Payment
- We accept all major credit and debit cards.
- Charges are made in Australian dollars. Your bank may apply a foreign-exchange fee if your card is in another currency.
- Charges renew on the same day of the month you signed up. If you signed up on the 31st, we'll charge on the last day of months that don't have one.
- Receipts are emailed automatically and are also available in your dashboard under Billing → Invoices.
Upgrading and downgrading
Upgrades take effect immediately. We prorate the cost of the new tier for the remainder of your current billing cycle, charged to your card on file.
Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you don't lose anything you've already paid for. If your current usage exceeds the smaller tier's limits, the dashboard will warn you before the change applies.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Billing → Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your servers are stopped and your data is retained for 30 days before deletion — so you can come back and pick up where you left off if you change your mind.
Failed payments
If a charge fails, we'll email you and retry over the next few days. After 14 days of unpaid balance your servers are suspended (still recoverable). After 30 days they're terminated and the data is deleted. We'll send several warnings before any of that happens.
Refunds
If something genuinely goes wrong on our end, email [email protected] and we'll work it out. We try to be reasonable; we're a small team and we'd rather keep customers happy than win arguments.
