A small hosting company with strong opinions.
Sapling exists because we thought game hosting could be better: simpler to use, honestly priced, and run on infrastructure the operators actually own. So we built the entire platform ourselves — from the dashboard down to the racks.
What we care about
Three things, mostly. Everything else follows from these.
Renewable by design
Our infrastructure runs on renewable energy — on-site solar generation with battery storage, backed by a majority-renewable regional grid. Green hosting is part of how we run, not a marketing add-on.
Australian owned and operated
The hardware is ours, it lives in Australia, and the people who run it are the people who built the platform. When something needs attention, we're the ones attending to it — not a ticket queue at a reseller.
Made for players, not enterprises
Most game hosting panels are repurposed enterprise control planes. Sapling was built for someone setting up their first server with friends — and every screen reflects that.
How we work
We're a small, independent team, and we treat that as a feature. Support requests are answered by the same people who operate the platform — typically within hours during Australian business hours — so you never have to explain your problem twice.
We're not venture-funded and we don't plan to be. We grow by word of mouth and price plans so the maths works at our size. If anything on this site ever feels like an upsell, tell us — that's a bug, not a feature.
And we say what we do plainly: every claim on this site is something the platform does today. No asterisks, no "unlimited" that isn't.
